This was an attempt to capture what looked like a wave from one of our local bandits!
We have a bear that comes every Wednesday at 2am. He often looks purple under the stars.

I wanted to try to capture the feeling of community after the storm.
Despite the tragedies of Helene, there were so many miracles too. This was an attempt to capture the gratefulness we felt after the storm.
I love to experiment with impressionistic animals-here is my take on a local woodchuck who hangs out right on the edge of the road. Can’t tell if he’s angry or just crazy, thus the name!
We are blessed to enjoy this amazing view from our porch.
